120 Mousse Rear (120/90-18)

I have often been asked , as well as deliberated the pros and conns of running a 120 Mousse in my 140 tyre and was never entirely convinced of the idea . Kyle motivated the idea by saying the Riga Gomme 120 mousse has a thicker / higher profile and this eliminates most of my worries , to which after completing my Impi race , most worries were settled aswell as validated . The traction on the wet and steep and technical sections was insaine !!! The only time I fealt a little sideways deflection / roll was at mid pace whilst crossing contours . This lateral sensation was never a feeling of lack of control though , so I was at ease knowing full well that all was good on the behind . I am yet to pull the mousse out to inspect its condition but can assure you the traction was consistent , predictable and out of this world . Last thing , this set up I would only use specifically for the more technical and harder rides , not the faster races where I would rather run the 140 in a 140 .
